On Tuesday, Paypal has confirmed their quick payment system "ONE TOUCH" is now available in 16 countries.
The service has already opened in Australia, Turkey, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
Through this service a user can pay easily their online purchase without signing in again and again into PayPal. As long as they are already signed in to the system.
Millions of consumers from USA, UK and Canada had already opted quickest payment method with top 100 online merchants on that part of the world. Paypal's Senior Vice President said to a Reuters reporter:
If consumers can't check out in one touch or tap and instead have
to do data entry on their mobile device they're far less likely
to complete the transaction,With One Touch, we're bridging that
gap and creating better buying experiences for consumers, which
in turn means higher conversions for merchants.
PayPal has about 169 million consumers across the world. Last year they had customers transaction was about $235 billion. Therefore, with one touch around $40 billion transaction already done by the users and this is ongoing.
